Job Title: Pre-sales Senior Engineer

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

The Pre-sales Senior Engineer will be a technical expert and key liaison between the sales team and clients. This role requires a professional with extensive experience in solution design and a proven track record of successfully guiding clients through complex IT solution proposals and implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute business development strategies for IT solutions.

• Lead discovery sessions with clients to deeply understand their business challenges and technical requirements.

• Design and architect comprehensive IT solutions, with a strong emphasis on Data Center, Networking, Cloud, Storage, ERP, and related IT solutions.

• Deliver compelling technical presentations and detailed product demonstrations to prospective clients and C-level executives.

• Prepare and write detailed technical sections of commercial proposals and RFP submissions.

• Act as a technical advisor to the sales team and mentor junior pre-sales engineers.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and project management teams to ensure the feasibility and successful handover of solutions.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, IT).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a pre-sales or similar technical role within the IT industry.

• Strong expertise in architecting and delivering solutions related to Data Center, Networking, Cloud, Storage, and/or ERP.

• Proven experience in preparing and presenting technical proposals and documentation for enterprise clients.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., from Cisco, Microsoft, VMware) are highly desirable.
