Premier Switch Solutions S.C. (PSS) is a leading Electronic Payment Processing Company, established by major private banks of Ethiopia. The Company has implemented the first multi-institution shared-switch infrastructure to provide its member banks with a state-of-the-art payment technology to drive ATM, POS, e-commerce, Mobile Banking and other payment channels and provide clearing of Debit/Credit card transactions for the banks.
Currently, PSS has one vacant position stated below and would like to invite applicants who meet the qualification and required experience listed for this job opening.

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field
At least seven years relevant experience 2 of which should have been in a senior officer role in maintaining P2P or IPS applications or payment switch in the financial sector
Experience in P2P/ IPS /payment switch / payment gateway/core banking
Implement the strategic direction of the payment application.
Implement policies, procedures and write process documents for the payment application and lead in their implementation through continuous review.
Execute the design, setup, installation and integration of various systems, applications, or process designs for payment application or any outsourced technology and business process solutions to meet the business’ requirements and are compliant with PCI DSS and other relevant security standards.
Build high availability and best performance of systems to meet the customer expectation.
Manage Instant Payment System / P2P
Provide all application support activities.
Work with vendors to implement fixes and issues that are logged to vendors portals.
Involve in different payment application and other related projects.
Provide/revoke users’ privilege and monitor user access management.
Ensure periodic payment system performance metrics are conducted.
Validate business intelligence reports
Implement system capacity planning and build business continuity.
Lead maintenance, upgrade and migration of systems.
Research new payment technologies and work with the relevant work units in the development of new products and services.
Perform application and logs backup, restoration, archiving and retention policy and procedures are properly implemented regularly.
Provide training, coaching and mentoring of employees within the department towards effective career development.
Perform and validate end of day tasks
Investigate logs and trace files.
Manage applications, transactions, interfaces and gateways.
Attend incidents, interruptions, malfunctions, and system quality reductions at any moment
Prepare periodic reports
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
