Job Summary 

The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods, materials, equipment, and services required for project operations. The role ensures procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations while achieving the best value in terms of cost, quality, and delivery. The Procurement Officer works closely with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics teams to support uninterrupted project execution. 

Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the development of local procurement suppliers in Ethiopia;

2. Responsible for local procurement in Ethiopia, including inquiry, organization of bid opening and evaluation, bid awarding and contract signing;

3. Responsible for contract performance, payment, etc. ;

4. Conduct procurement business in a compliant and efficient manner;

5. Other matters arranged by the company.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, international trade, procurement management, or a related field.

• Professional procurement certification (e.g., CIPS or equivalent) is an advantage.
   

Experience

• 3 years and above of procurement experience, preferably in construction, oil & gas, LNG, energy, infrastructure.

• Experience working with both local and international suppliers.

• Knowledge of procurement planning and contract administration is preferred.
