Main Purpose

Ensure on time availability of operations and departments needs while optimizing inventory levels and quality standard of procured items.

   Duties and Responsibilities

1. Vendor Research & Evaluation

   • Identify and compare potential suppliers.

   • Assess offers based on pricing, quality, lead times, reliability, and contractual adherence.

   • Stay updated on industry trends and supplier performance to ensure the best choices.

2. Negotiation & Cost Optimization

   • Drive cost-saving initiatives through bulk purchasing and strategic sourcing.

   • Negotiate contract terms, including pricing, payment conditions, timelines, and termination clauses, ensuring enforceability and clarity.

   • Cultivate strong supplier relationships for optimal terms and service quality.

3. Order & Inventory Management

   • Ensure timely receipt of orders to support uninterrupted production and customer delivery schedules.

   • Maintain strict quality standards to minimize defects and returns.

   • Enter order details (vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.

   • Keep updated records of purchases, delivery information, and invoices.

4. Reporting & Compliance

   • Prepare reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis and supplier performance.

   • Ensure compliance with legal regulations, ethical standards, and industry best practices while mitigating supply chain risks.

   • Streamline procurement processes to reduce cycle times and enhance efficiency.

5. Collaboration & Additional Tasks

• Work alongside teams and procurement managers to fulfill organizational needs.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the function head.

Job Requirements

• BA Degree in Accounting/Logistics and Supply Chain or other related business fields.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience. 

• Experience in the beverage/FMCG industry is preferable.

• Ability to work under pressure and ability to consistently deliver.
