The Role

The Product Support Sales Representative (PSSR) is responsible for driving aftermarket revenue growth by promoting spare parts, maintenance contracts, and service solutions across the installed customer base. The role focuses on proactive customer engagement, opportunity conversion, and effective coordination with internal teams to maximize service revenue, improve customer retention, and enhance lifecycle value

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, or with related field of study

Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, product support, or customer service.

  • Experience in aftermarket/service sales, spare parts sales, or technical support is preferred.

  • Experience in document solutions, office machines, IT equipment, or related industries is highly advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities

Aftermarket Revenue & Sales Growth

  • Drive the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual spare parts and service revenue targets.

  • Promote and sell Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), Preventive Maintenance Contracts (PMC), and other service solutions.

  • Maximize revenue from the installed customer base by proactively identifying and converting sales opportunities.

Customer Engagement & Opportunity Development

  • Conduct regular customer visits to identify spare parts, service, and upgrade opportunities.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to improve customer retention and loyalty.

  • Support installed base mapping and customer segmentation to prioritize high-value accounts.

  • Generate leads for equipment upgrades, replacements, and additional service offerings.

Service Coordination & Operational Support

  • Coordinate with service engineers and spare parts teams to ensure timely and effective service delivery.

  • Follow up on open job cards, pending quotations, and outstanding customer requests.

  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints and service-related issues.

  • Monitor warranty coverage and maintenance contract status to ensure continuity of service.

Pipeline Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including customer interactions, opportunities, and pipeline status.

  • Track and manage the sales pipeline to improve visibility and forecasting accuracy.

  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales performance and activity reports.

  • Monitor spare parts consumption trends and identify additional revenue opportunities.

Customer Satisfaction & Retention

  • Support initiatives that improve customer satisfaction and overall service experience.

  • Maintain consistent follow-up and communication with customers to strengthen long-term relationships.

  • Contribute to customer retention through effective service delivery and proactive engagement.
