Majar Two Import and Export Private Limited Company (soon to be named Dawaa Pharmacuetical Manufacturing Company), a public-private company organized under the law of Federal democratic Republic of Ethiopia with its principal office located at Addis Ababa, Akaki Kality Sub city, Woreda 07.

Position Summary: 

The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of the production process in a contract manufacturing environment. The role ensures adherence to quality standards, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective utilization of resources to meet production targets. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain production plans & schedules in alignment with customer demands and inventory targets. 

• Ensure all production activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), local regulations, and company policies. 

• Continuously evaluate production processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost savings, and waste reduction. 

• Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of production equipment and machinery to minimize downtime. 

• Maintain detailed records of production activities (BMR), and provide regular reports to senior management. 

• Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes to drive innovation in manufacturing processes;

Job Requirements

Educational Background: 

• BA/MA/PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Experiences: 

• 5/4 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or contract manufacturing, with at least 2 years in managerial role

Skills: 

• Communication skill, organization & time management skill, analytical skill,  decision-making skill and problem-solving skill. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
