As the Project Manager, you will take the lead on all project management activities across the organisation, guiding your team through every stage of the project lifecycle with a focus on quality, consistency, and delivery excellence.

General Duties

In this role, you will work closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will define clear project objectives, develop detailed project plans, allocate resources effectively, and proactively manage risks and issues before they impact delivery.

You will be the driving force behind successful project execution, keeping all parties aligned, informed, and accountable from initiation through to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the project planning process, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Identify project dependencies, risks, and critical paths to ensure successful project execution.

  • Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support project activities.

  • Coordinate with department managers to ensure adequate staffing and resource availability.

  • Optimize resource utilization to maximize project efficiency and productivity.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and vendors.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives and deliverables.

  • Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress.

  • Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues.

  • Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize impact on project outcomes.

  • Implement contingency plans as needed to mitigate project disruptions.

  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements.

  • Conduct regular quality assurance reviews and inspections to identify and address any issues or discrepancies.

  • Implement best practices and quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of project delivery.

  • Lead and motivate the project management team to achieve project goals and objectives.

  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to promote teamwork and project success.

  • Oversee the execution of project activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.

  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any deviations from the plan.

  • Implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track and within scope.

Job Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in service delivery, project management role, preferably in the IT or telecommunications industry with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.

  • Good technical background with expertise in Enterprise Network, Data Center, Integrated Security Systems, and Unified Collaboration solutions.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills.

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana).

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is required.

  • Certifications in Project management (CAPM, PMP and PRINCE2) is advantageous.
