Majar Two Import and Export Private Limited Company (soon to be named Dawaa Pharmacuetical Manufacturing Company), a public-private company organized under the law of Federal democratic Republic of Ethiopia with its principal office located at Addis Ababa, Akaki Kality Sub city, Woreda 07.

Position Summary: 

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading and managing Dawa Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring that all manufacturing activities—whether performed onsite or through contract manufacturing—comply with applicable cGMP, regulatory requirements, company policies, and client Expectations. The QA Manager serves as the primary authority for product quality decisions, including batch record review, product release, deviation management, audit oversight, and supplier/CMO qualification. The role ensures the integrity of the quality system and promotes a strong culture of quality throughout the organization. 

Key Responsibilities

• Own and improve the QMS, controlled documentation, and validation/qualification oversight.

• Lead batch review and product release decisions (approve/reject raw, packaging, intermediates, finished goods).

• Manage deviations, OOS, CAPA, and change control (root cause, effectiveness, follow-up).

• Manage supplier/material quality (qualification, APVL, specification/GMP compliance).

• Ensure validation (process, cleaning, analytical methods; equipment/utilities) is reviewed and approved.

Job Requirements

Educational Background: 

• BSC/MSC/PhD in pharmaceutical (preferred), Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related scientific discipline

Experiences: 

• 5–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory /managerial role.

Skills: 

• Communication skill, organization & time management skill, analytical skill,  decision-making skill and problem-solving skill. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
