Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local regulations (EFDA) and international standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and GMP) requirements 

• Implement compliance with SOPs, PRPs, and CCP controls 

• Maintain quality records, logs, and reports 

• Prepare and monitor Non-conformance products and conduct and follow up on the corrective and preventive actions 

• Conduct internal audits for the Warehouse and hygienic inspection

• Train warehouse staff on GMP, hygiene, food safety, and quality requirements 

• Assure the quality of transferred products from the factory to the Dire Dawa warehouse. 

• Assure the quality of end products before releasing to market. 

• Perform basic quality tests on end products before releasing to the market.

• Follow and monitor the FIFO model in Dire Dawa warehouses. 

• Confirm and accept return products. 

• Follow periodic cleaning of field sales trucks. 

• Prepare a daily report on FIFO and return products. 

• Prepare a Monthly report on return products. 

• Manage the customer complaints and conduct the RCA with the factory quality

• Follow and monitor the temperature of cold rooms and freezer containers. 

• Have the responsibility to report problem(s) with regards to the FSMS to identified person(s)

Job Requirements

•  BSC Degree in Food Science, Industrial Chemistry, and other related fields

• Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in FMCG
