Job Summary

Inspect incoming raw maize to ensure it meets company quality and food safety standards. Identify, record, and report quality issues and support the acceptance or rejection of raw materials.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw maize deliveries. 

• Check maize for moisture content, foreign matter, and damage. 

• Identify mold, pests, discoloration, and contamination. 

• Collect samples for quality testing. 

• Accept or reject raw maize based on inspection results. 

• Record inspection findings accurately. 

• Monitor proper storage conditions for raw maize. 

• Maintain inspection records and quality reports. 

• Support corrective actions for non-conforming materials. 

Job Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field. 

• Experience in grain handling, inspection, or quality control is an advantage.
