DEDE Bottle Factory PLC is an emerging bottle manufacturer dedicated to high-quality, sustainable production. Located in Debre Birhan, with a contact office in Addis Ababa, our state-of-the-art facility is currently in the advanced project phase. 

Purpose of the Job

The purpose of the job is to assist the Quality Control & Assurance team by managing documentation, maintaining inspection records, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The role plays a crucial part in tracking production defects, coordinating with production teams for corrective actions, and assisting in audits and inspections.

Major duties and Responsibilities

• Processes and validate quality control reports submitted by inspectors.

• Maintains a structured and accessible system for organizing quality control documentation.

• Ensures accurate record-keeping of all inspections, defects, and corrective actions taken.

• Regularly update quality control databases and ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Monitors and log product defects or quality issues identified during production.

• Prepares and submits detailed reports on inspection results to the Supervisor.

• Follows up on corrective actions taken to address quality concerns and verify effectiveness.

• Works closely with production staff to resolve quality issues and improve inspection procedures.

• Communicates inspection results to relevant departments and ensure timely corrective measures.

• Supports initiatives aimed at improving production quality and minimizing defects.

• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements related to glass manufacturing standards.

• Performs other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

Required Knowledge and skills (Competence)

Education

• BSc degree or TVET certification in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

• Additional training in quality management systems and documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SAP).

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 years of experience in administrative or quality control roles, preferably in a manufacturing or glass production setting.
