Vacancy: Quality Officer (Coffee Export Company)
The Quality Officer is responsible for cupping, grading, and ensuring the overall quality of coffee supplied and exported by the company.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct cupping sessions and provide cupping notes.

• Perform physical grading (defects, screen size, moisture).

• Approve/reject coffee lots based on quality standards.

• Inspect warehouse storage and processing quality.

• Ensure samples match export quality requirements.

• Maintain quality reports and documentation.

• Work with suppliers/farmers to improve coffee quality.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Bachelor in Agriculture, Food Science, Agronomy, or related field.

• 1–2 years’ experience in coffee quality control.

• Ability to cup and identify coffee defects (ECX or coffee and tea Authority Cupping training is a plus).

• Knowledge of Ethiopian coffee types and export standards.

• Good communication and reporting skills.
