The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors of SDE and providing excellent customer service, managing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth administrative operations.
Required Number: 1
Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and clients in a professional and friendly manner.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and equipped with relevant information materials.
Register patients, ensuring accurate personal and medical information is collected.
Maintain confidentiality of patient data in compliance with data protection policies.
Update and organize patient records as needed.
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments efficiently.
Coordinate with laboratory technicians to manage the daily workflow.
Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate transaction records.
Address patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Provide basic information about laboratory tests, preparation, and procedures.
Ensure timely delivery of test reports to patients or physicians.
Manage incoming calls, emails, and messages, ensuring prompt responses.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: BA/BSc in Nurse, Public Health , Management or related filed
Experience: Prior experience in customer service, healthcare, or a similar role is preferred
Required Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using computer systems and other software.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Work Conditions
Regular interaction with patients, laboratory staff, and administrative teams.
Work may require extended hours, including weekends, depending on operational needs.
