DISTINCT FUTURE OF CVDA
CVDA has been re-registered and licensed by the Ethiopian Ministry of Justice, Charities and Societies Agency, on November 30, 2009 as an Ethiopian Residents charity in accordance with the Charities and Societies proclamation No. 621/2009 with registration No. 0588. As per 1113/2019 proclamation also re-registered on July 30, 2019.
CVDA has permission to work at the national level however so far operates marginal parts of Benshangule Gumuz Region, Sidama region, South Ethiopia Region, Central Ethiopia region, South west Ethiopia region, Oromiya region, Afar region and Addis Ababa City administration.
It is member of Consortium of Reproductive Health Association (CORHA), Union of Ethiopian Women Charitable Association (UEWCA), Ethiopian Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative/EEITI/, Ethiopia Civil Society Coalition for Scaling up Nutrition/ECSC-SUN/ and Afar Region Health Partner Forum.

CVDA envisions a poverty-free Ethiopia where equity and equality are ensured.
Mission:
CVDA’s mission is to enhance socioeconomic development in health, education, agriculture, environment, livelihood, and WaSH, humanitarian responses, community-based peace-building, and good governance through holistic approaches and working with the community to contribute towards sustainable development and an improved standard of living in Ethiopia.
Overall goal:
CVDA’s goal is to contribute to poverty alleviation through community-based approaches by implementing programs for development, good governance, and humanitarian responses in different regions of the country.

Which implemented in Bena Tsemay, Malle and Dasenech Woredas, South Ethiopia. So we want to hire project staff for this project mentioned below
Duty station
Jinka – Regional Project Coordination Office
Reporting line
Reports to: CVDA Programme/Executive Management; works closely with WFP and regional government counterparts.
Supervision
Directly supervises project technical officers and coordinates woreda-level implementation teams.
Job purpose
Provide overall technical, operational and partnership leadership for the project, ensuring timely, quality and compliant delivery of climate-smart livelihoods, post-harvest management, school garden/nutrition and HGSF market-linkage interventions.
Minimum qualifications & experience
MSc in Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, Rural Development, Agribusiness or a closely related field; preferably 8+ years of progressively responsible experience managing climate-smart livelihood/agriculture programmes in lowland and highland Ethiopia; experience with donor-funded projects and government coordination; strong planning, reporting and team-management skills.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Lead implementation planning, budgeting, coordination and performance management across the three target woredas.
Ensure delivery against the project objectives and targets, including 3,000 farmers, 30 Farmer/Pastoralist Field Schools, 108 school gardens, post-harvest infrastructure and HGSF market linkages.
Coordinate with WFP, Southern Ethiopia Bureaus of Agriculture and Education, woreda administrations and other partners.
Provide technical oversight to climate-smart agriculture, input distribution, poultry, post-harvest, school garden and market-linkage activities.
Review monthly, quarterly and annual technical reports and ensure timely submission in line with WFP requirements.
Lead joint supportive supervision, review meetings, risk management and corrective action tracking.
Ensure gender, protection, PSEA, safeguarding, accountability and conflict-sensitive programming are integrated throughout implementation.
Oversee sustainability, government capacity strengthening, asset handover and project exit arrangements.
Represent CVDA in relevant coordination and technical forums and maintain constructive stakeholder relationships.

Approved workplans; coordinated implementation; timely donor reports; supervision records; stakeholder meeting outputs; risk/action trackers; sustainability and handover plan.

Job Requirements The successful candidate should possess a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, Rural Development, Agribusiness, or a closely related field.
