Purpose and Scope of the Assignment 

ChildFund Ethiopia is seeking the service of an external audit for project “Improving the school environment at Tigil Lenetsanet Primary School by upgrading playgrounds and providing a variety of sports and recreational materials.”

Requisite Qualification

ChildFund is looking for an external audit service, the auditor is required to meet the following conditions:

1. The audit firm is a member of a national accounting or auditing body or institution that is a member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). 

2. The audit firm is a member of a national accounting or auditing body or institution and commits to undertaking this engagement in accordance with IFAC standards and ethics. 

3. The audit firm is registered as a statutory audit firm in the public register of a public oversight authority in the country and has a strong track record of performing credible financial audits for international non-governmental organizations in the project country.

Application Procedure 

Competent and interested service providers are requested to submit their proposal separately for each project which include the following to ChildFund Ethiopia office address stated below. 

A separet technical proposal and financial proposal for the project should be inclusive of all associated costs and taxes for the assignment.

“The Contractor shall take all appropriate measures to prevent sexual exploitation or abuse of anyone by its employees or any other persons engaged and controlled by the Contractor to perform any services under the Contract. Any breach of the provision by the Contractor shall entitle ChildFund to terminate the contract with immediate effect.”
