The company is engaged in international import and export operations, serving as a strategic link between Ethiopia’s domestic market and international trading partners. Through its export activities, the company connects Ethiopia’s agricultural and commercial products with global markets, while its import operations facilitate access to essential raw materials and other goods that support domestic industrial development.

Our company, Gena Yabezanal Import and Export PLC, is looking to hire qualified applicants for the position listed below.

Duties and responsibilities

• Identify potential customers, new markets, and business opportunities to increase sales and expand the customer base.

• Promote the company's products and services through direct marketing, customer visits, telephone calls, social media, and other promotional activities.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

• Prepare sales plans, marketing activities, and periodic sales reports for management review.

• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities.

• Communicate product and service information, prices, promotional offers, and terms of sale to customers.

• Prepare quotations, sales proposals, and other commercial documents in coordination with relevant departments.

• Negotiate with customers to achieve mutually beneficial sales agreements while complying with company policies.

• Coordinate with the finance department regarding customer payments, outstanding balances, credit terms, and sales transactions.

• Organize promotional campaigns, product demonstrations, exhibitions, and other marketing events.

• Collect customer feedback, handle complaints, and coordinate corrective actions to improve service quality.

• Maintain accurate records of customers, sales activities, market information, and business correspondence.

• Prepare periodic reports on sales volume, revenue, customer acquisition, marketing activities, and competitor performance.

Job Requirements

Qualification & Work Experience

• BA in Marketing & 5 years’ working experience and related field

• At least 5 years’ experience in Marketing  

• Professional certification is advantageous

Job Requirements The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field from a recognized institution. The candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in marketing. A relevant professional certification is considered an added advantage. Strong communication, analytical, strategic planning, and customer relationship management skills are also required.
