AL-MAHI Trading PLC is engaged in the importation, distribution, and marketing of consumer health, pharmaceutical, nutritional, and related products in Ethiopia. The company is seeking a motivated and results-oriented professional to join its sales and promotion team in Dire Dawa.

Job Purpose

The Sales & Product Promoter will be responsible for promoting and selling the company's pharmaceutical and nutritional products, developing customer relationships, expanding market coverage, and achieving assigned sales targets in Dire Dawa and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell AL-MAHI's pharmaceutical, nutritional, and related products.

• Visit pharmacies, drug shops, health facilities, retailers, and other potential customers regularly.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and health professionals.

• Provide accurate product information and professional product presentations.

• Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Identify new customers and business opportunities.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, prices, and customer feedback.

• Follow up on customer orders and product availability.

• Support product launches, promotional campaigns, and other marketing activities.

• Prepare regular sales, customer-visit, and market reports.

• Maintain accurate customer and sales records.

• Represent AL-MAHI Trading PLC professionally in the assigned territory.

• Perform other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

Required Qualification and Experience

Education

• BSc in Pharmacy, or BSc in Nutrition from a recognized university.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in pharmaceutical sales, nutrition product sales, medical/product promotion, pharmacy-related sales, FMCG, or a similar position.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good sales and negotiation skills.

• Customer-oriented and target-driven.

• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

• Good understanding of pharmaceutical and/or nutritional products.

• Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.

• Good reporting and basic computer skills.

• Ability and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

• Fluency in Amharic and Afaan Oromo is an advantage.

• Knowledge of the Dire Dawa market is an advantage.
