Position:
Organization: Zoma Museum PLC
Customer Interaction: Greet customers, answer their questions about products and store policies, and resolve any complaints or concerns.
Transaction Processing: Scan items accurately, handle payments (cash, card, checks), issue receipts, and provide correct change.
Point of Sale (POS) Management: Operate the cash register or POS system, inputting sales and ensuring pricing accuracy.
Cash Handling: Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, reconciling transactions and ensuring the accuracy of cash on hand.
Returns & Exchanges: Process customer returns, exchanges, and other special transactions efficiently.
Merchandise & Store Appearance: Bag or wrap customer purchases, maintain a clean and organized checkout area, and assist with stocking or rotating merchandise as needed.
Promotions & Loyalty Programs: Stay informed about current promotions and assist customers with signing up for store rewards programs or loyalty cards.
Customer Service: A positive, friendly, and helpful attitude towards customers.
Accuracy & Detail-Oriented: The ability to perform tasks accurately, especially with numerical data and cash.
Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Efficiency: The capacity to handle transactions and tasks quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Reliability & Honesty: A strong work ethic and trustworthy demeanor are essential when dealing with money and company assets.
Teamwork: Collaborating with other store personnel to ensure smooth operations.
Diploma/Level IV or equivalent in Accounting or relevant degree from an accredited university and with at least 1-2 years’ experience in similar or related roles, preferably with a private company.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Having a desire to work for the position is advantageous
