Position Title: Sales Engineer – Electro-Mechanical & Industrial Solutions

Position Overview

We are seeking a high caliber Sales Engineer who combines engineering expertise with consultative selling skills. This role is responsible for selling value-based industrial solutions, not just products.

The ideal candidate will:

• Understand industrial processes and customer pain points

• Proactively assess client needs

• Design and propose technical solutions

• Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure and long-term relationship management

Key Product & Solution Areas

• Industrial air compressors and compressed air systems

• Industrial cooling and thermal management systems

• Electro-mechanical equipment and components

• Industrial machinery, parts, and integrated solutions

• Customized industrial solutions across manufacturing, construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities in industrial and electromechanical markets

• Proactively generate leads, qualify prospects, and manage the entire sales pipeline

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

Technical & Solution Selling

• Conduct site visits and technical assessments to understand customer requirements

• Recommend appropriate, value-driven technical solutions

• Prepare and present technical proposals, quotations, and bid documents

• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients

• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support in coordination with internal teams

Market Intelligence & Reporting

• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior

• Maintain structured prospect and customer profiles

• Prepare regular sales activity and performance reports

Internal Coordination

• Work closely with engineering, service, and logistics teams to ensure smooth project execution

• Support installations, commissioning, training, and after-sales activities when required

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 4-5+ years of proven experience in technical sales, industrial equipment, or engineering-related business development

• Experience in selling industrial or electro-mechanical products is strongly preferred

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of industrial systems and equipment

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Knowledge of industrial applications, processes, and solution design

Sales & Personal Skills

• Strong negotiation and closing skills

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities

• Customer-centric and solution-oriented mindset

• Self-driven, target-oriented, and proactive

• Willingness to travel frequently for customer visits
