We are seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer with strong technical and commercial expertise to support the sales of ERP solutions and participate in tender-based projects. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical solutions and client needs, ensuring successful proposal development, tender participation, and deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pre-Sales & Solution Design
Understand client business requirements and propose suitable ERP and technology solutions
Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations
Work closely with the technical team to design customized solutions
Prepare solution architecture and technical documentation
2. Tender Management
Identify and evaluate relevant tenders (government, NGOs, private sector)
Lead or support the preparation of technical and commercial tender documents
Ensure compliance with tender requirements and submission deadlines
Coordinate with internal teams to gather required inputs for proposals
3. Sales Support
Assist the sales team in client meetings and negotiations
Prepare proposals, quotations, and RFP/RFQ responses
Support contract discussions and closing deals
Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
4. Market & Product Knowledge
Stay updated on ERP solutions, competitors, and industry trends
Provide feedback to product and development teams
Identify opportunities for new solutions or improvements
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Pre-sales, or Technical Sales
Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Odoo, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
Strong experience in tender preparation and submission
Good understanding of business processes (Finance, HR, Supply Chain, etc.)
