Position Summary:
Daye Transport is seeking a highly experienced sales manager with a strong B2B background and a proven track record in driving results within the transport sector or FMCG industry. The ideal candidate will bring 7–8 years of experience in sales, with 3–4 years in a managerial or leadership role. The sales manager will be responsible for developing strategies, growing key accounts, and leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets.
Build strong relationships with B2B clients.
Identify new business opportunities, prospect for new clients, and expand the customer base across various transport services.
Track sales performance, analyze market trends and competitor activities, and report results and forecasts to senior management.
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance.
Drive market expansion and explore new business opportunities.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities.
Prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
Collaborate with the operations and logistics team to ensure seamless service delivery.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field.
7–8 years of proven progressive experience in sales.
At least 3–4 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Experience in transport, logistics, or FMCG is required.
Strong B2B sales exposure with a track record of closing deals.
Excellent communications.
Technical selling skills and product knowledge to demonstrate value to business owners and decision-makers.
