A Sales Officer is the initial point of contact with a customer and is responsible for generating new customer leads through various channels as well as deepening relationships with existing customers by offering exceptional service. The officer is also responsible for everything from pre-sales process activities to post-sales process activities, making necessary follow-ups on the status of the collection of bonds, the settlement of outstanding payments, and achieving the monthly sales targets assigned to him or her for various products

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering/Marketing/Management or in related fields and a minimum of 2 years related work experience

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, addressing their needs and inquiries promptly

• In-depth knowledge of the sales process from initial contact to post-sale support, along with a strong understanding of effective sales strategies and relevant industry regulations

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Demonstrates Persuasive Selling and Negotiation skills.

• Accurately prepares and maintains detailed sales reports and documentation, including proforma invoices and tender participation forms, ensuring all records aligned with organizational standards.

• Prior experience in the Automotive Industry is highly preferred

• Fluent, spoken and written English and Amharic
