TAF Energies PLC is seeking a qualified, motivated, and results-driven Sales Representative to join its commercial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling fuel and lubricant products to retail and corporate customers while expanding market presence and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and sell fuel and lubricant products to existing and potential customers
Identify new business opportunities and develop new accounts
Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to company growth
Conduct regular customer visits and maintain strong client relationships
Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and reports
Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery
Follow up on customer payments in collaboration with the finance department
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and regulatory requirements
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, Mechanical/chemical Engineering, or related field
Minimum 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in petroleum products, lubricants, FMCG, automotive, or industrial sectors
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
Good knowledge of the Ethiopian market
Proficiency in Amharic and English (additional local languages are an advantage)
Able to travel up country frequently
Preferred Skills
Experience in B2B sales
Knowledge of fuel and lubricant products
Existing customer network in transport, construction, or industrial sectors
