About the Position

ATTA Trading PLC is looking for an experienced and motivated Salesperson to join our Sengatera Shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling construction materials and equipment while providing customers with appropriate product information and technical guidance.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, Construction, Engineering, or with related field of study

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in construction materials, tools, machinery, or equipment.

• Experience dealing with contractors, construction companies, engineers, and technicians is highly advantageous.

Location: Sengatera Shop, Addis Ababa

Employment Type: Full-Time

Duties and Responsibilities

• Sell and promote construction materials, tools, equipment, and related products.

• Assist customers in selecting the appropriate materials and equipment according to their requirements.

• Maintain strong product knowledge, including specifications, applications, quality, and proper use of construction materials and equipment.

• Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.

• Prepare quotations and follow up on customer inquiries and orders.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, engineers, technicians, and other customers.

• Monitor product availability and coordinate with the store team regarding stock requirements.

• Maintain proper product display and organization of the shop.

• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.

• Prepare daily sales and customer follow-up reports.

• Perform other sales-related duties assigned by management.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong practical knowledge of construction materials and equipment is mandatory.

• Good understanding of construction tools, materials, applications, specifications, and quality differences.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-service skills.

• Ability to achieve sales targets and work under pressure.

• Basic computer and MS Office skills.

• Honest, energetic, responsible, and customer-oriented.
