Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures for the office.
Supervise security personnel, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
Manage incident response procedures, including investigation and reporting of security breaches.
Provide training and guidance to security staff on best practices and emergency response.
Facilitate security awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of safety.
Monitor security systems and technology to ensure operational effectiveness.
Prepare and present security reports to management, highlighting key issues and recommendations.
Collaborate with other departments to align security initiatives with organizational goals.
Job Requirements
Required Skills:
Diploma (10+2) in management, Business Administration or Grade 12 completed with minimum 5–8 years of relevant security experience. at least 1–3 years in a supervisory role preferred
Desired Skills:
Strong leadership and team supervision skills
Good communication and reporting ability
Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response
Ability to handle incidents calmly and professionally
Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, reporting)
Knowledge of fire safety and occupational safety procedures
High level of integrity and discipline
