Jenboro Real Estate PLC is a fast-growing and reputable real estate development company committed to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including A/P, A/R, GL, and reconciliations
Oversee tax preparation and ensure compliance with government regulations
Conduct budget planning, forecasting, and financial analysis
Monitor cash flow and assist in financial planning
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial records
Generate periodic reports to management for strategic decision-making
Support internal and external audits and implement recommendations
Use accounting software (Peachtree/Sage) for transaction recording and reporting
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university
Minimum of 6 years proven experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate or construction sector
Strong understanding of Ethiopian tax laws and financial regulations
Proficient in Peachtree Accounting Software (Sage)
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office tools
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
