The Senior Accountant at Yoha International Pharmaceuticals PLC plays a crucial role in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance within the Accounting and Finance sector. This full-time position, based in our Addis Ababa office, requires a seasoned professional with 5–8 years of experience. The role encompasses overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and risk management, all while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will contribute to the financial health of the organization, particularly in relation to import and export activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with regulations.
Manage budgeting processes, including forecasting and variance analysis.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to maintain optimal cash flow.
Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks.
Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in Quickbooks and other accounting systems.
Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and implement recommendations.
Develop and maintain financial reporting templates and dashboards for management review.
Coordinate with other departments to support business operations and financial planning.
Train and mentor junior accounting staff to enhance team capabilities.
Monitor compliance with tax regulations and prepare necessary documentation.

Job Requirements
Required Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Proficiency in Quickbooks for managing accounting processes.
Demonstrated experience in working with import and export companies.
