The Senior Accountant at Ramid Trading PLC will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-8 years of experience in accounting and finance, working from our Addis Ababa office. The individual will be responsible for overseeing account management, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The role demands strong analytical skills and attention to detail to support financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations.

• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits.

• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance financial reporting.

• Monitor and report on financial performance against budget and forecasts.

• Ensure timely processing of financial transactions and reporting.

• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

• Provide mentorship and training to junior accounting staff.
