We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance Team and support the company’s growth.

Key Role & Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely financial records.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable cycles.

• Review and post journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger adjustments.

• Monitor cost allocations, inventory accounting, and product costing in coordination with supply chain and production teams.

• Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws (VAT, WHT, Payroll Tax, Corporate Income Tax).

• Support external audits and coordinate with auditors.

• Assist in budget preparation, expense monitoring, and variance analysis.

• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.

• Strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes.

• Support management with ad-hoc financial reports and analysis.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

• BA Degree in Accounting & Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or ACCA certification is an added advantage).

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or agro-processing.

• Strong understanding of Ethiopian tax laws and financial reporting standards.

• Proven experience in inventory accounting, cost control, and production-related financial processes.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, ERP systems) and MS Excel.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• High level of integrity and professionalism.
