Job Summary
The Senior Accountant will manage accounting operations for a property management services company, ensuring accurate recording of transactions, reconciliation of accounts, and timely financial reporting. The role supports month-end closing and audit readiness.
Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or with related field of study
Experience:
3-5 years of accounting experience.
Experience with Peachtree (QuickBooks/Peachtree) is required or strongly preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounting for property management activities (rent/service charges, vendor expenses, deposits/refunds where applicable).
Prepare and review journal entries; ensure proper accounting treatment and documentation.
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash/bank schedules.
Reconcile tenant ledgers and accounts receivable (as applicable).
Review invoices, ensure correct posting/coding, and track outstanding balances.
Prepare monthly reports and account reconciliations for management review.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist with internal/external audits and provide supporting documents.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking related to properties.
Train/guide junior staff when required.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in peaches tree software & Excel .
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High accuracy and attention to detail
Good documentation and reporting skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Strong communication skills
