Vacancy Announcement – Senior Accountant (Female)

PANA DM Trading PLC is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Female Senior Accountant to join our Finance Department.

Duty Station: Tulefa, Addis Ababa

Preference: Applicants residing in or around Hayat, Tafo, CMC, Figa, or nearby areas are highly encouraged to apply due to the job location.

Key Responsibilitie:

• Maintain accurate accounting records using Peachtree (Sage 50).

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.

• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.

• Ensure accurate inventory and cost accounting.

• Prepare and submit VAT, Withholding Tax, Payroll Tax, Pension, and other statutory returns through the ERCA/eTax system.

• Ensure full compliance with Ethiopian tax laws and accounting standards.

• Support budgeting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.

• Coordinate internal and external audits.

• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

Preference will be given to female candidates residing around Hayat, Tafo, 72 and surrounding area and nearby areas to ensure convenient commuting.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 3- 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or trading company.

• Strong practical knowledge of Peachtree (Sage 50).

• Hands-on experience with ERCA/eTax filing, including VAT, withholding tax, payroll tax, and other statutory tax submissions.

• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and financial reporting.

• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.

• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
