Key Responsibilities

• Record and monitor all tyre sales transactions, including cash, credit, and digital payments.

• Reconcile daily and weekly sales transactions with invoices, receipts, bank deposits, and sales records.

• Maintain accurate accounting records for different tyre brands, sizes, and product categories.

• Reconcile physical tyre stock with accounting and inventory records and investigate discrepancies.

• Monitor accounts receivable, customer balances, credit sales, collections, and outstanding payments.

• Prepare sales, inventory, revenue, and expense reports for management.

• Calculate and monitor Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and sales margins.

• Monitor tyre purchases, sales costs, discounts, returns, damages, and stock losses.

• Perform bank reconciliations and support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Ensure proper application of VAT, Withholding Tax, and other applicable tax requirements.

• Support internal and external audits by maintaining complete and accurate financial documentation.

• Coordinate with the Sales, Warehouse, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial records.

• Monitor sales performance and provide financial analysis to support management decision-making.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in tyre sales, automotive, trading, distribution, or FMCG.

• Strong experience in sales accounting, inventory reconciliation, and accounts receivable.

• Good knowledge of Ethiopian tax requirements, including VAT and Withholding Tax.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting/ERP systems.

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
