We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting strategic financial decision-making. The Senior Accountant will manage complex accounting tasks, supervise junior team members, and ensure compliance with all financial regulations and tax requirements. This position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced enviroment compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the company.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform complex reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate and lead internal and external audits.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Review and approve financial transactions and journal entries.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Participate in the development and improvement of accounting policies and procedures.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial projects and initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting or finance, with a minimum of two years as a senior accountant.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and lead by example.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS).
• Experience in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
• Experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
