Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance, Management, Business Administration, or related field.

• Experience: 5 (Five)+ years of experience, manufacturing experience preferred (work experience in food manufacturing is advantageous).

• Quantity Required: 1

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the Accounting of Manufacturing plant, P&L manufacturing Statement, and Balance Sheet Account.

• Partner with Supervisor-Accounting to execute month-end, quarter-end, and annual close duties, including accruals, product costing, and reviewing Financial information to ensure the financials are accurately and timely reported.

• Prepare and post journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and handle bank reconciliations.

• Ensure accuracy of fixed assets, assist with the periodic verification (count) of fixed assets, and support fixed asset disposals and transfers to ensure the account is correct.

• Manage multiple deadlines and respond quickly to Management requests.

• Ensure the adherence to and effectiveness of internal controls in own area of responsibility.

• Facilitate internal & external audit needs.

• Research & application of technical GAAP & IFRS requirements.

Skills & Competencies:

• Verbal & written communication skills.

• Computer literacy; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher, among others.

• Time management skills.

• Understanding of GAAP & IFRS as it applies to a manufacturing environment is required.

• Bank reconciliation, ledger cleaning skills, tax declaration, and tax knowledge are mandatory.
