Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Journalism or with related field of study

Experience:

•  A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in content development, storytelling, journalism, or multimedia production
• Proven experience in supervising, coaching, and building the capacity of multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable women and girls in high- risk contexts
• Strong experience in teaching or delivering training on psychosocial support, case management, gender-sensitive rehabilitation, and related areas

Location: Addis Ababa

Employment Type: Contract (8 month contract)

Salary: Based on the project scale

Job Type: Part-time( 3 days per week)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience in writing, editing, and producing high-quality stories, articles, and communication materials.
• Experience in video production, including filming, editing, and documentary storytelling.
• Experience working with development programs, or social impact initiatives is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Good interpersonal skills and ability to conduct interviews with sensitivity, particularly with vulnerable groups.
• Proficiency in relevant media tools and software for content creation and editing is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and Amharic is required; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage
