The Senior Digital Payment Officer is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the performance and availability of digital payment systems. This role involves leading system upgrades, changes, and performance enhancements to ensure optimal functionality. The officer will participate in team leadership activities, delegate tasks in the absence of the principal, and manage the setup, testing, and piloting of various digital integrations such as IPS, NPG, and Shared Wallet. Key responsibilities include managing and monitoring payment application systems, guiding the payment system operations, and troubleshooting incidents. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Managing payment application systems and operations.

• Troubleshooting payment incidents and issues.

• Ensuring accurate payment processing and recovery of any overpayments.

• Supporting clients on digital payment platforms.

Job Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields of studies 

• 6/4 years of relevant work experience out of which 2 years in professional positions

• Ethical competence and certifications are advantages
