Job Summary

The senior dispatch officer coordinates daily truck dispatch, assigns trucks and drivers to cargo, follows trips through to delivery, and keeps dispatch records accurate.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily truck dispatch activities.

• Assign available trucks and drivers according to cargo requirements and dispatch schedules.

• Monitor vehicle movements and follow up on trip progress and cargo delivery.

• Coordinate with drivers, branches, customers, and relevant departments.

• Identify and report dispatch delays, vehicle shortages, and operational problems.

• Verify dispatch documents and ensure accurate trip records in the system.

• Prepare daily and weekly dispatch performance reports.

• Support the Division Manager in improving fleet utilization and delivery performance.

Job Requirements

• BA/BSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Transport Management or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

• Experience in fleet dispatch or truck transport operations is required.
