Nowadays, in line with government trade, marketing and development strategies, it strives to produce world class products of having high demand across the world. This effort has allowed it to start to generate foreign currency and create job opportunity for 500 Ethiopian youths. 

Now it is seeking senior Electrical Specialist to plan, Supervise, control, share experience and Evaluate Supervisors, Senior Electrician/Senior Mechanic. Perform all preventative and corrective maintenance tasks, testing of electrical/Mechanical equipment and systems, installation, fabrication and renovation of electrical/Mechanical components electronics/electromechanical and control circuits and advanced troubleshooting and corrective maintenance tasks on electrical/Mechanical equipment and systems within the factory territories and/or outside of the factory (if applicable and required).

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance work by coordinating utility Maintenance Supervisors for a smooth and standard machine operation.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance according to the plan to minimize machine down time.Designing and implementing work schedules for the mechanical subordinates.
• Perform fabrication and modification and/or renovation work by coordinating available resources
• Assure work sites are consistently set up and operated in a safe manner.
• Complete reactive maintenance on production lines to recover from equipment failures by repairing mechanical and structural components
• Adjust and align machine parts, replace defective parts of machinery as needed and Install or repair machinery & Equipment
• Pay particular attention to quality and safety issues and make corrective measures when needed.
• Research, design and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment of the factory machineries and system performance
• Providing motivation and assistance when necessary to make conducive work environment
• Prepare Standard operating procedure for machineries & maintain all documents and follow up for implementation of each procedures
• Detect problems by performing basic diagnostic tests, check the performance of machinery and determine whether repairs are needed.
• Ensure preparedness and response to emergency situations and accidents.
• Periodically monitor measure, analyze and evaluate the food safety management systems compliance and enhance performance.
• Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts and maintain accurate worksheets and records/documentation associated with your work.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual technical reports of the area of responsibility on time and forward to immediate supervisor
• Perform other duties assigned by immediate supervisor

Qualifications: 

Educational Background: 

• Master’s Degree /Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electromechanical Engineering

Experience: 

• Professional certificates like PLC, AutoCAD with practical touch
• 6 years for M.Sc. and 8 years for BSC of experience after graduation in manufacturing industry, with at least 1years or 2years in a senior leadership role respectively
• Strong experience in the manufacturing sector (essential)
• Deep understanding of Maintenance planning
