To support this ambitious expansion, we are seeking a highly accomplished, strategic, and results-driven Senior Finance Manager / Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will play a critical leadership role in driving financial excellence, supporting investment decisions, and building robust financial systems that enable sustainable business growth.

Position Overview
The Senior Finance Manager / CFO will provide strategic financial leadership and oversee all aspects of financial planning, reporting, compliance, budgeting, treasury management, project financing, and risk management.
The successful candidate will help establish world-class financial structures while supporting the successful execution of major manufacturing and industrial projects.
Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Accounting & Finance, or with related field of study
Master's Degree (MBA, MSc Finance, MSc Accounting, or related discipline) is highly preferred.
Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CIMA, or equivalent are highly advantageous.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in finance and accounting management.
Proven experience in manufacturing industries, industrial projects, factory operations, engineering projects, construction companies, or large-scale corporate environments.
Experience in paper manufacturing, glass production, industrial processing, EPC projects, or related sectors is highly desirable.
Demonstrated success in establishing financial systems, controls, and reporting frameworks.

Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's long-term vision and growth objectives.
Provide strategic financial advice to executive management and the Board of Directors.
Lead business planning, investment analysis, capital allocation, and financial forecasting initiatives.
Financial Management & Corporate Controls
Oversee accounting operations, budgeting, financial reporting, treasury, and cash flow management.
Establish and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and corporate governance frameworks.
Monitor organizational financial performance and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
Project Finance & Industrial Operations
Lead financial planning and performance monitoring for major manufacturing and construction projects.
Evaluate project profitability, return on investment, cost efficiency, and financial sustainability.
Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and resource utilization to ensure optimal financial performance.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure full compliance with Ethiopian tax laws, accounting standards, financial regulations, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate external audits, tax audits, and regulatory reporting activities.
Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks.
Leadership & Team Development
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team.
Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Develop scalable financial systems capable of supporting future business expansion.
Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, auditors, government institutions, and business partners.
Support financial communication and collaboration with international partners, suppliers, and investors.
Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax regulations, financial legislation, and statutory reporting requirements.
Advanced understanding of budgeting, project finance, cost accounting, financial modeling, and cash flow management.
Experience with ERP systems and modern financial management software.
Excellent analytical, reporting, and forecasting capabilities.
