Job Purpose

Lead the finance function for ATTA’s new industrial projects (Paper & Glass Factory) in Ethiopia. Build and manage a full finance team, ensure financial compliance, cost control, project financing, and internal control.

Job Requirement

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Manufacturing With related field of study.

Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing / factory operation.

• Experience in paper, glass, engineering, or industrial projects is a strong plus.

Duties & Responsibilities:

•  Establish and improve the company’s full financial system (accounting, cost control, budgeting, reporting).

• Manage all financial activities, including cash flow, AR/AP, payroll, tax, banking, and audit.

• Provide financial support for large-scale industrial projects (paper, glass, engineering, procurement).

• Develop standard financial processes and ensure strict compliance.

• Recruit, train and manage a finance team.

• Support cross-border communication between China and Ethiopia.

• Prepare financial forecasts, project budget, investment analysis, and management reports.

Skills and Competencies

• Solid understanding of Ethiopia tax, banking, and local regulations.

• Strong process awareness: must follow rules, not bypass program

• Ability to lead a team and build a finance department from scratch.

• Good English communication (written & spoken).

• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.

• Experience with ERP systems and modern accounting software.

• Excellent understanding of tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and financial compliance.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Ability to provide strategic financial guidance to executive management.

• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and reporting skills
