Sheahem Trading PLC is a fast-growing pharmaceutical and healthcare products importing company committed to delivering high-quality products and building long-term partnerships. We are seeking a highly competent, ethical, and results-oriented Senior Finance Officer to strengthen our finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.

• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

• Follow up Letters of Credit (LCs), import payments, and banking transactions.

• Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax-related reports.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

• Maintain accurate financial records in the ERP system (Odoo experience is an advantage).

• Ensure compliance with company policies, IFRS, and Ethiopian tax regulations.

• Support annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.

• Recommend improvements to internal controls and finance processes.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.

• Experience in pharmaceutical import, trading, or import/export companies is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and financial reporting.

• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.

• Experience using ERP systems (Odoo is an added advantage).

• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

• High integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.

Job Requirements The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience. Experience in pharmaceutical import, trading, or import/export companies is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in financial accounting, import/export financial transactions, cost accounting, inventory and stock management, financial reporting, account reconciliation, budgeting, taxation, auditing support, and compliance with financial policies and regulations is essential.
