Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance or with related field of study

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience for Master's Degree or minimum of 6 years of demonstrated experience for Bachelor's Degree holders.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly and periodic financial performance reports.

• Conduct budget vs. actual variance analysis and provide recommendations to management.

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and financial models.

• Analyze production costs, expenses, profitability, inventory, and working capital.

• Prepare management dashboards and reports using advanced Excel and ERP systems.

• Review financial data and accounting treatments for accuracy and completeness.

• Support account reconciliation, financial closing, and audit activities.

• Provide financial analysis to support pricing, cost control, investment, and business decisions.

• Ensure financial reports comply with IFRS, company policies, and Ethiopian tax requirements.

• Support the General Accounts Division Head in improving financial controls and reporting.

Skills & Competencies

• Accounting Principles (GAAP), IFRS

• Advanced Excel Proficiency: Extensive practical skills in financial modeling, pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis, and reporting.

• ERP & Accounting Treatment Knowledge: Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems and solid understanding of proper accounting treatments.

• Internal Controls & Reconciliation: Proven ability to manage daily reconciliations, payout controls, and fund segregation.

• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax legislation
