Job Summary

Overview: By working closely with the editorial team, you will be responsible for turning stories into compelling visual experiences and for the overall visual identity of all of MCC’s digital footprints (website, social media, and newsletters).

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging designs for digital and print
• Assist in the ongoing development of our monthly magazine’s visual style guide.
• Ensure high standards of typography, photography placement, and brand consistency.
• Translate data or stories provided by content editors into engaging charts, maps, and infographics for feature articles.

Job Requirement

Qualifications required

• 2 and more years of professional design experience in Print media or related industries
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
•  Experience with Canva for social media
• Very good understanding of typography, photography, and color theory.
• Ability to cope with the daily “need it now” pace of social media.
•  Experience with motion graphics or video editing is a plus.
