Job Summary

Bisrate Gebriel Sahilu Getaneh Poultry Farm (BGS) is seeking an experienced, proactive, and results-oriented Senior HR Officer to oversee and strengthen its Human Resources operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the entire employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, compensation and benefits, and strategic HR initiatives. The role requires strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills to ensure effective HR operations and support the achievement of the company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage talent acquisition and onboarding processes.

• Promote positive employee relations and engagement.

• Coordinate performance management and employee development initiatives.

• Ensure HR compliance, policy implementation, and effective HR operations.

• Support compensation, benefits administration, and HR analytics.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Work Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HR Officer, Senior HR Officer, or equivalent role.

• Experience in multi-branch, restaurant, retail, agriculture, manufacturing, or other high-volume workforce environments is highly preferred.

Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of HR administration, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, disciplinary procedures, labor law, manpower planning, payroll coordination, and HR reporting.

Computer Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Proficiency in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), attendance systems, and payroll systems.

Certification

• Professional HR certification is an added advantage.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong conflict-resolution skills.

• Ability to handle confidential employee matters professionally.
