The Senior HR Officer is responsible for managing and executing advanced human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance with labor laws. This role supports the HR Manager in developing HR policies, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring smooth HR operations that align with the company’s goals. The Senior HR Officer acts as a key liaison between management and employees, fostering a positive work environment and promoting organizational growth.
Lead and coordinate recruitment processes including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
Develop job descriptions and specifications in collaboration with department managers.
Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and provide guidance on workplace policies and conflict resolution.
Facilitate disciplinary actions and grievance procedures according to company policies.
Promote employee engagement and a positive organizational culture.
Assist in designing and implementing performance appraisal systems.
Monitor employee performance and provide recommendations for training or development.
Support managers in setting performance goals and conducting regular reviews.
Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
Organize workshops, seminars, and continuous learning initiatives.
Track training effectiveness and employee progress.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and employment standards.
Assist in reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures.
Maintain employee records, contracts, and confidential information securely.
Support payroll processing and administration of employee benefits.
Assist in salary reviews and benchmarking exercises.
Manage leave records, attendance, and overtime.
Prepare HR reports and analytics for management review.
Manage HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and ensure data accuracy.
Support HR audits and internal control processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with hands-on experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation.
Strong knowledge of local labor laws and employment regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Experience in payroll processing and benefits administration is preferred.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong problem-solving ability and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
