Oversee the preparation, review, and management of all import documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Coordinate and liaise with international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth and timely clearance of imported goods.
Ensure compliance with domestic and international import laws, customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements.
Handle import permits, licenses, and approvals required for restricted or regulated items.
Monitor the status of shipments, track deliveries, and resolve any issues or delays that arise during the import process.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of import activities for auditing, reporting, and compliance purposes.
Negotiate shipping rates and contracts with logistics and freight service providers to optimize cost-efficiency.
Collaborate with internal departments such as procurement, warehouse, finance, and supply chain to coordinate receipt and inspection of imported goods.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or in a related field of study with relevant work experience
