Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation, review, and management of all import documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

  • Coordinate and liaise with international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth and timely clearance of imported goods.

  • Ensure compliance with domestic and international import laws, customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements.

  • Handle import permits, licenses, and approvals required for restricted or regulated items.

  • Monitor the status of shipments, track deliveries, and resolve any issues or delays that arise during the import process.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of import activities for auditing, reporting, and compliance purposes.

  • Negotiate shipping rates and contracts with logistics and freight service providers to optimize cost-efficiency.

  • Collaborate with internal departments such as procurement, warehouse, finance, and supply chain to coordinate receipt and inspection of imported goods.

Job Requirement

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or in a related field of study with relevant work experience

  • Experience: 5+ years
