Job Summary
The Senior Local Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing local sourcing and procurement operations, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of materials and services to support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and execute local procurement strategies and sourcing activities
• Procure locally available raw materials, spare parts, and services
• Manage supplier selection, negotiation, and vendor relationships
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements
• Oversee purchase planning, order tracking, and contract administration
• Monitor costs and implement cost control measures
• Coordinate with finance, production, logistics, and warehouse teams

Qualification Requirements
• BA/MA in Supply Chain Management, Management, Business Administration, or related field
• 8/6 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role
• Mandatory experience in a large manufacturing company
• Strong understanding of the Ethiopian supplier market and procurement processes
• Experience in manufacturing or the cement sector is highly preferred
• Proficiency in ERP procurement systems
• Strong negotiation, coordination, and organizational skills

Job Requirements Candidates should hold a Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field and have at least 8 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a senior role within a large manufacturing environment.
