Majar Two Import and Export Private Limited Company (soon to be named Dawaa Pharmacuetical Manufacturing Company), a public-private company organized under the law of Federal democratic Republic of Ethiopia with its principal office located at Addis Ababa, Akaki Kality Sub city, Woreda 07.

Position Summary:

Lead maintenance activities to ensure reliable operation of production equipment and utilities in a GMP-compliant CMO environment. Support engineering projects and maintain validated systems to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for production equipment to maximize uptime.

• Troubleshoot complex issues (mechanical, electrical, PLC/controls) and implement improvements.

• Oversee utilities management (HVAC, purified water, compressed air, steam, power, generators) in validated/GMP condition.

• Develop and execute annual preventive maintenance plans, including calibration and spare parts management.

• Ensure GMP and EHS compliance with complete documentation (maintenance logs, calibration records, change/deviation reports); support QA during audits/validations.

• Coordinate maintenance with Production, Warehouse, QA, and Planning; manage external vendors when needed.

Job Requirements

Educational Background: 

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.

Experiences: 

• 2–5 years’ experience in maintenance experience in a pharmaceutical, food, or FMCG manufacturing environment

Skills: 

• Communication skill, organization & time management skill, analytical skill,  decision-making skill and problem-solving skill. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
