Job Summary

Protech Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for network installation, configuration, maintenance,

troubleshooting, and technical support across company projects and data center environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, servers, and related network equipment.

• Troubleshoot network connectivity and hardware-related problems.

• Perform network cabling, rack mounting, equipment installation, and configuration.

• Support network operations at project sites and data centers.

• Conduct preventive maintenance and system upgrades.

• Work closely with technical teams to ensure reliable and secure network operations.

• Prepare basic technical documentation and reports.

Job Requirements

Experience: Minimum More than 6 years of relevant hands-on experience in network engineering and hardware support.

Certification: CCNA/CCNP or HCIA/HCIP certification is required.

Good knowledge of networking protocols, network equipment, installation, and troubleshooting.

Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Language: Proficiency in Afaan Oromo is required.

Willingness to work at different project locations.

Preferred

• Experience in data centers or large-scale IT infrastructure projects.

• Knowledge of advanced networking or cloud networking.

• Additional IT/networking certifications.
