Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Accounting and Finance or with related field of study

• ACCA qualification

• Certification in CFA, FMVA, Project Finance, IFRS, and Local Tax are highly desirable

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing and banking sector

• A proven track record in project finance management is mandatory

Location: Head Office, Addis Ababa

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.

• Track project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.

• Support project financing, funding arrangements, and disbursement processes.

• Prepare financial reports and updates for management and stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with financial policies, donor requirements, and standards.

• Coordinate with project teams, finance, and external partners.

• Monitor financial performance and highlight variances with recommendations.

• Support audits and ensure proper documentation of project finances.

Skills & Competencies

• Highly analytical and detail-oriented

• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools

• Excellent understanding of NPV, IRR, DCF valuation, sensitivity analysis, and project risk assessment

• Advanced financial modeling and forecasting skills

• Strong knowledge of project finance structures and funding mechanisms
